WealthOS is an independent investment research tool. It combines live market data with the analytical frameworks of value investing, so you can research a business in minutes instead of weekends. This page explains what it actually does and what it does not.
You ask a question about a company. Before answering, the system retrieves current market data — price, change, recent headlines — and the analysis is produced against a consistent framework: business quality, valuation discipline, margin of safety and the specific risks that would invalidate the thesis. Load the advisor or browse research. The knowledge library is free and always will be, because most people should understand the framework before they pay for anything built on top of it.
Prices, fundamentals and news come from a third-party market data provider (Finnhub), not from us inventing numbers. Every quote carries a provenance flag: a price is presented as live only when it comes from that feed and passes a freshness check. When it does not, we mark it as not real-time rather than quietly showing a stale figure that looks current.
A large language model generating a written response at the moment you ask. It is not a proprietary model — we do not train our own — and it is not a database of human research it is looking things up in.
That distinction matters for one reason: language models can be confidently wrong. They can state a plausible-sounding figure that does not appear in any source. Our answers are grounded in retrieved market data where we have it, but no AI output on this site should be treated as verified fact. Check anything that determines a real decision against primary filings.
The knowledge library is written in-house and is educational material, not investment advice. Where an argument comes from somewhere specific — Berkshire shareholder letters, Graham, Kahneman and Tversky — it is credited at the foot of the article.
We do not publish numbers we cannot source. That is why there is no user count in the footer, no satisfaction rating, and no performance track record anywhere on this site: none of those yet exist as facts, and inventing them is the fastest way to make every other claim on the site worthless too.
Questions, corrections and refund requests go to the contact page. Corrections are acted on — if something here is wrong, tell us and it gets fixed.
